BUREAU OF MEDICAL CANNABIS REGULATION TO HOLD PUBLIC REGULATION HEARING IN LOS ANGELES
The Bureau of Medical Cannabis Regulation will hold its second public regulation hearing in Los Angeles to receive comments regarding the recent release of the bureau’s proposed medical cannabis regulations. The regulations include general provisions applicable to all bureau licenses, distributors, transporters, dispensaries, and testing laboratories. All members of the public are invited and encouraged to participate.
WHERE: Junipero Serra State Building, 320 W 4th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013
WHEN: Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The schedule for the day will be as follows:
10:00 – 1:00 p.m. Public comment on the medical cannabis regulations for general provisions applicable to all bureau licenses, distributors, transporters, and dispensaries.
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Public comment on the medical cannabis regulations for testing laboratories.
“The proposed regulations for medical cannabis are the result of countless hours of research, stakeholder outreach, informational sessions and pre-regulatory meetings all across the state,” Bureau Chief Lori Ajax said. “And while we have done quite a bit of work and heard from thousands of people, there is still so much more to do. In order to make our program successful we still need your feedback.”
